Capromuni II
Overview
Capromuni II is a part of the umbrella organization, Instituto Pre Vocacional e Industrial de Puerto Rico (IPVIPR), a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency that has existed since 1985 and is co-sponsored by the Department of Justice and the Administration of Families and Children. Capromuni II was created to provide shelter and orientation to battered men and women and their dependents to overcome victimization as a result of gender violence. The establishment and operation of this program requires an effort that crosses organizational, public and private boundaries. It is expected to improve existing resources, coordinating and integrating services in order to impact families more quickly and effectively. Communities Served:
